[access-uk] help needed obtaining a serial to USB connectivity cable

Hi all,

I am wanting to connect my Canon BJC85 printer to my .
However, the printer cable has a serial connection for which
I have a cable, but the cable ends in a Mail socket and my
computer does not have any serial ports, (all ports on this
machine are USB), so I am wondering if anyone can give me
any advice on where I might be able to obtain a cable with a
female serial socket at one end and the correct connection
for a USB port at the other.

sending this message, as, although I am not cross posting
this message, I am intending to send it to both the BCAB and
