Hi,

Hope the below helps?

Front face
Starting with the top row and with the first button on left, moving from
left to right they are, in order:

Row one
Black circular button labelled 'STB' above it - this is the power on and off
button for the set top box.
White rectangular button with 'AV' printed on it - this is the input channel
selector for the TV and allows you to select toggle between Freeview, DVD or
VCR.
White circular button - this is the power on and off button for the TV.
(Before you can use this button and the AV button, you must first link the
remote control to your specific TV, please refer to the section titled
'about the remote control' for details on how to do this).

Rows 2, 3 and 4
These rows are a number pad, which can be used to enter channel numbers and
navigate through the numbered options within the menus.
The top row (row 2) is numbers 1, 2 and 3.
The next row (row 3) is numbers 4, 5 and 6 (there are 2 small raised dots on
the number 5 button, to aid identification).
The next row (row 4) is numbers 7, 8 and 9.

Row 5
Black rectangular button with a speaker symbol and a cross through it. This
is the mute button for speech on the set top box (not the TV volume).
Black rectangular button with a 0 printed. This forms part of the number
pad.
Black rectangular button with HELP printed on it. Use this button to enter
and exit the help screen.

Row 6
This row has 2 large rectangular buttons. The left one is the volume control
for either the speech on the set top box or the TV volume. Press up to
increase the volume and down to decrease.
The button on the right is channel scroll. Press up to move up the channel
list and down to move down through the channel list.

The next group of buttons are all white and are contained in a slightly
recessed area.

Starting at the top with the left hand button:
Guide - This enters and exits the electronic programme guide (EPG).
Info - This displays information about the channel or programme you are
currently watching.
Next are 4 triangular shaped navigation buttons pointing up, down, left and
right, with a round button in the middle.
These triangular buttons are used to navigate around the on screen menus and
are referred to as navigation buttons in this guide.
The circular button in the middle, with OK printed on it, is used to select
menu options and will also display a mini guide if pressed while watching
TV.
The next buttons down and starting left are:

Menu - This enters the menu screen.
Back - Below the down arrow is the back button. This is used to go back one
step in the menu's or programme guide.
Exit - This exits the menu and returns to the last programme that you were
watching.

Row 7
This row contains three black rectangular buttons. Starting on the left they
are:
A button with 2 curved arrows printed on it. Use this to switch between the
channel you are watching and the channel you were previously watching.
TV/radio - Use this to switch between TV or Radio channels.
FAV - This displays a list of your previously entered favourite channels.

Row 8
This row contains four different coloured rectangular buttons.
Starting left they are red, green, yellow and blue. Use these to select
different options when you are on digital text pages. The Yellow and blue
buttons can also be used within the EPG to skip forwards or backwards 24
hours.

Row 9
This row contains 3 black rectangular buttons. Starting on the left, they
are:
AD - This switches the audio description function on and off.
SUB - Use this to switch subtitles on or off.
TXT - This selects interactive text services when available.

Row 10
This row contains 3 black rectangular buttons. Starting from the left they
are:
? (question mark symbol) - Press to find out where you are in the menus.
A button printed with a speech bubble and a cross through it. During an
announcement use this to stop the talking features and announcements when
you have heard enough.
TF - This button switches the talking features on and off.

Back
On the back of the remote is the battery cover. See the 'getting started'
section for the correct procedure for inserting the batteries into the
remote control.

Front edge
Along the front edge is a smooth and shiny area. This is the infrared
transmitter. When operating the remote control, point this at the set top
box. Do not place any objects which will block the line of sight between the
transmitter on the remote control and the sensor on the set top box.

Can someone please give me a description of the location of the
buttons on the remote control for the Goodmans talking set-top digital
TV box. In particular the button to turn on Audio Description and the
"Where am I Button"?

Many thanks.
