Hi steve, Thanks for all that, sorted now. Getting there slowly but surely due to the help from the list, Thanks to you all. susan -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Steve Nutt Sent: 08 January 2015 12:08 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: hi folks, Hi, Sounds like you have Narrator coming up at the Ease Of Access centre. You can either go in and disable the scrfeen saver, this is in power options. Or set Window-Eyes to run at the logon screen which is a better way of doing it. This is in Window-Eyes, press Control-backslash, down to General, then press right arrow, then down to Startup options and tick all the boxes for start at logon and start after logon if you want that. When I am away from my computer for a while it seems to go in to standby mode, then when I go back to it it's asking me to sign in and to put in my password. I don't normally have to do this. This also happens when I put it on sleep mode. What also happens is it turns on n v d a another screen reader I have on the computer as a back up. We had friends here for coffee this morning and out of curiosity I asked them what was on the screen she told me there was a thing like a clock which was sitting at 3 o clock and said easy access at it. Any ideas what's going on here?
