[access-uk] how to put things into the system tray

Hi,
could some one tell me how to put things permanently into the system tray?
for example I have spyware guard on my programs menu, when I press enter on
spyware guard it temporarily goes into the system tray but when I switch the
computer off and on again it has disappeared from the system tray.
