Hi trace,
sometimes the mail program isn't set the default for all actions. Try the following. 1. Open the start menu, type in all or part of set your default programs and press enter. The set default programs page of the control panel opens.
2. Tab to the list of programs, and select your email program.
3. Tab to the set this program as default button, and press it.

David.

original message:
Hi

was discussing this problem with a friend last night as we both have the same situation, he's posted a message to the windows 7 list but mustn't have had a
reply or he'd have been in touch so i figured i'd try on here.

we both use windows 7 and internet explorer. the proble3ms that the options such as send link or send webpage are disabled and so we can't se3nd someone a
page or link. there's obviously something that needs ticking somewhere but
where!!

anyhelp welcome
