Oh Elanor, you do say the nicest things sometimes! Haha! Can't promise anything but I'll see what I can do.

Oh come on Steve, a techy like yourself. Now all it will take is you sitting down comfortably at home with your iphone and a method of recording and talking away about it. There is some site now, I cannot remember what it is called and there is an Irish guy called Darragh and he does these tyhpes of demos and uploads them. I did go in once to an Apple Store but they were too busy, good for them but bad for me. Then I went in to an 02 store and the guy did not know how to use the speech but he knew it was there. After a little playing around with it I grasped the concept. fortunately I have some useful vision and while I could not identify the icons as such I could at least see them and know it would be possible to memorise them. What gets me though is I have an N97 Mini which is both touch phone and qwerty. When I use the touch component on screen I have to tap it but there appears to be something about double-tapping on the iphone and that would just do my head in! *smile*. Oh no, it has to be Talks for me unless someone can really convince me and give me a really good demo. Now I know you're the man Steve, think about it over the weekend. I'm sure you will come up with something over the next month.

Hahaha, Elanor, gosh, I'm not sure about podcasting but I'm certainly happy to tell you a little about it either on or off list. I think you're probably right though about talks. I've still got an N86 as well but find that I'm using the iPhone more and more now. I like the aps which you can download and the simple fact that so much works right out of the box.

I can't imagine for one minute Steve moving away from Talks. Might I invite you to do a podcast for us please?

Hi Carol & Barbara, well I've gotta say, I am well impressed with the iPhone 4! I had its predecessor, the 3GS but found it somewhat frustrating. I may just have gained a little more experience with having the ipod touch as well but this time I took straight away to the iPhone 4. It feel substantially more solid and durable than any of the android phones which I've looked at but it's considerably more accessible.

I think it's really going to give talks a run for it's money! smiles.

Well done, Barbara.

As a matter of interest, are there differences in the price of the IPhone, depending on where you buy, or can you only purchase from an Apple store at the same price, wherever you buy?

Got my iPhone 4 today. Surprised how quickly have got to
grips with its basic features. Are there any lists
specifically dedicated to blind iPhone users?

Sorry if this has been answered before, but as wasn't
interested would not have read.

Thanks in advance.
