Hi,
Disable notifications on the lock screen. It will not only save battgy, but will also keep speech silent, unless you choose to unlock the phone. And of course, avoids from people having a look at it. Go settings, notifications, and can go through each app, to disable on lock screen, or just disable with the ones that you want. I'd recommend disabling messages, more than anything.

Subject: [access-uk] iPhone not always locking query

I am increasingly aware that when I receive a notification or text message,
my iPhone 6 doesn't always lock afterwards. I have checked the amount of
time it is supposed to lock when not touched, and it is set to two minutes.
I must have received a notification last night because, when I went to my
iPhone this morning, it was dead! I am currently charging the battery which
had indeed gone flat, but I am puzzled as to why this happens more now than
ever. It really means having to stick the phone on charge overnight in case
a notification comes in and doesn't lock the screen afterwards.

I am running the latest iOS release. Is anyone else having this problem, or
is there anything else someone can suggest I try, please?

Thanks for any help.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Brown
