hi ed yes it's strange that was from the sense but on the outlook on the iphone
i have to put 143 and 25 in but i cannot for the life of me find where you put
in the port numbers it's only because it's beating me that i'm trying to do it
but it still will not connect using the app on the phone.
like you though i can use my plusnet account on the iphone with the email
program. i just wonder if voice over is not picking something up during the
setup
when heather comes tomorrow i will have a look at it
better stick to chess playing eh

Interesting, I've only ever used Outlook on the PC--I just use the standard
Mail app on the phone.
You need port 143 for the incoming port, though it looks like you may have
fixed it as I've seen a subsequent test message from you.
