that's a good point.  What I think really could have been done at the
beginning of opening up access-uk on freelists, is to post the first e-mail
explaining all the processes that people would need to got through in order
to get off list, set their account to digest, set account to no
mail/vacation so that everyone here can sort that out themselve.  i think
the Ecartis help file made no sense to a lot of people what so ever.

I'm actually now at the freelists website sniffing around their FAQ to
equaint myself with what's in regards to setting my account to no mail
during holiday periods and anything else that i think i need to know for
now.

hopefully this'll come clearer soon.
