Hi Simon

There's a few ways of doing this and some tools to enable you to do so on
this page:

hi list, a friend has forgotten his password to log on to his xp machine. is
there a way of getting round the password screen, so he can access his
system again?
I heard of a program for this but can't find it at the moment.
I suggested last known best configuration but I may be wrong as the pw
screen will come up again I think.
many thanks.
