I found a page on the vodafone site that says the following, hopefully its something new to try and not the number you've already phoned.

When you need another 1GB of data, simply top up with a £15 voucher or call 08080 101238 to top up by debit or credit card.

The URL is

Hi all
to-day I acquired my pay as you go vodafone usb mobile stick.
the software works with window-eyes and I can use skype seemingly at no cost and listen to a talking book without cost.
the only thing I cannot find out is how to top up.
I phoned vodafone and went round and round in there sections.
if anyone has any ideas then I will be very grateful. if no joy next week I will take it in to a Leeds vodafone store. thanks.
