Hi all,
Just bought a rj45 to connect my modem router/LiveBox to my pc.
Unfortunately, there is, apparently only one rj45 connection at the back of my pc and this is used to connect to the other pc in the house.
If I use this connection for the modem router, where do I connect the crossed rj45 so that the 2 pcs can still talk to each other?
At the moment the second computer use wifi to connect to the modem and I use a usb connection.

Any help more than welcomed.

Cheers now,

Marie
p.s. We both use xp home edition, when I look at network adapters on my control pannel I see 3 of them listed.
one called 194 net adapter, a usb remote network adapter and the Vires one pertaining to the motherboard.
The other pc only shows 2 of them, the motherboard one and the wifi one.
What does this mean?
