Hi all, Since yesterday I have had the following problem when using ABC to
share files.

My network connection is lost and can only be reestablished by exiting ABC.

Ok here are some details. I am using a Netgear 834 ADSL modem/router to
access the internet. My desktop is connected wirelessly to this through a
PCI wireless card. I am using ABC version 3.1. It doesn't seem to make any
difference if I limit the speed of the downloads or the number of files
being shared at the same time, although before yesterday I was able to have
12 files sharing at the same time.

BT is my ISP and I am on their option 3 package 8 MB connection speed with
no usage limit. When I took a look at their web site yesterday they said
that although there was no actual usage limit for option 3 customers they
had a fair usage policy which means that if customers are uploading and
downloading a great deal at peak times BT may restrict their bandwidth.

I don't think this is the issue though as it says restrict not cut off and
when my desktop has no network connection due to ABC running my laptop is
still able to connect.

When ABC is not running I am able to access the internet and get email
normally and download from Audible normally.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Yusuf
