Steve,

Assuming you want the Demon settings, and you have enabled POP3
retrieval in the account (you probably did this ages ago), then the user
name would just be thacker, using your _pop3_ password, this is
different to your connect password.

Sorry if that is sketchy but some time since I used Demon mail at all.

Hi folks, when replying to this message, please send a copy to my other

I am getting an error message in Outlook Express on my pc saying
incorrect username or password. I know the password is correct, but am
oot sure that the username is. In Outlook Express, is there something
that needs to be added to my username - my username is thacker, but
should pop3 or something come in front of that?
