Hi Andy

Well go ahead and give it a go mate. Make sure that the switch on the front of your laptop is pushed to the right so that Bluetooth and wireless are enabled.

I've never tried doing that, so let me know how you get on, off list if you wish.

Jackie

Hi Jackie -

With T-Mobile PAYT, you get web access for £1 per day, so I'm now going to
try and link my phone via Bluetooth to my laptop, and see if I can achieve
waht John did from doing this, not that I want to listen to Sheff Wednesday
of course <smile> -

Andy

| Hi Andy
|
| It's why I was interested in the USB modem on a non-contract basis,
because
| I wouldn't be using it all the time either, and really saw it as a backup. | I have no interest at all in phone contracts as I am happier with topping
| up, and would want to operate the modem in the same way.
|
| If I find out a bit more, I'll let you know. One of the things that
| interests me about using a modem from a mobile provider in this way is the
| software accessibility.
