Hi, it's easy enough to add another field, that's what I always do, then edit the label if I need to. You won't be able to dial a number from the notes field either.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave

thanks, that clears it up allot. I wanted to put another landline number in
for one of my contacts and couldn't think where to place it, so tried
putting it into the notes field right at the end. I've altered all my phone
numbers with the + sign now instead of the first part of the UK dialling
code, and I hadn't realised that the two presses of the * key wouldn't work if I put it into the note for the contact. Thanks very much, all clear now.

Hi, the star key thing works when you're in contacts in the numbers fields, but not when writing a note or message, even when in number mode, where you
have to use the select symbol or cycle through with the star key however
many times if using predictive.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Patricia

I'm using an N70 phone, and when I press 0 for a while, I only get the 0
and
not the plus. I wonder whether I can alter something to get it to display
the + sign.

Hi Alex,

can someone remind me again please of how to create a plus sign when
entering a phone number? Thanks in advance.

Hold the zero key down until it turns into a plus.

Cheers,
