Hi barry, i went to the url you gave me, and found radio downloader. the trouble was, i found a link which gave the name and a number, presumably the programme version. below that i found another link, which gave just the name of the programme. it didn't matter which link i used, i couldn't get it to download. then i went to tom lorrimer's whitestick web site, and downloaded it from there. i have now installed it and tried it. unfortunately it said that it couldn't find the server, and invited me to tried again. i have done that, but have got no further. it is difficult for me to ask what i am doing wrong, because none of you can be quite certain what exactly i am doing. brian.
