hi guys, First of all, please forgive me if this subject has been already covered on this list.

I'm wondering if you hopeful musicians out there have been experiencing the same problem as I have.

I have been trying to purchase over the counter song books in a format accessible to visually impaired people like us, and have found it nearly impossible to find such publications here in the UK.

I realize some of you will be wondering, what is he on about.
Well, I am trying to learn the musical keyboard, and I am finding it more, and more difficult to find publications such as song books in a format visually impaired people can access.

I will explain a little about the music books I am talking about.
The song books in question are indeed good learning materials, containing helpful lyrics, chord progressions, and melody lines to all popular songs we need to learn. These music books are widely available over the counter in every music outlet in the country, but not it seems for the visually impaired.

I have been trying for over a year now to find a musical outlet willing to provide such materials in an accessible format for us blindys, but with no luck at all.

I am wanting to know if anyone in this group have encountered the same proble as this, and if they have indeed found a way round it.

Any advice or suggestions or help in this matter would be appreciated,

Billy
