Hi David

Not silly at all. You're no more at risk now than you were before you switched off the spam filter. NOD 32 will pick up all known infections regardless of the spam settings. You are at risk now from the crap they send through in ridiculous promises at outrageous prices but that, as they say, is another story.

Roger

If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.

Subject: [access-uk] spam filtering

Hi Folks,

I have just turned off my NtL spam filter as it was stopping many of the
messages which should have been getting through. I realise that I may well
now get unwanted messages, but am I more at risk from viruses. My
anti-virus is updated as soon as NOD32 has an update available.

Someone please tell me I have not done something really stupid here. I need
reassurance.
