[access-uk] switching on my mac

Hi,
Some times when I am turning on my mac it comes up with a screen for my
password. Well I do nt have a password as I like my mac to load with VO on.
Each time this happens to me I have to ask my wife has she is sighted what is
going on. The only way to get past this screen is to turn of my mac and restart
it.
Can anyone help me?
