Hi,

Are they specifically luggage scales? Caretec do some nice scales, both
kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom scales would weigh a suitcase easily and
can speak in pounds, stones and kilos. Contact me off list if you want any
further info, we sell them. They are called Happy Day.

Subject: [access-uk] talking luggage scales?

Hi All.

I have been after some talking luggage scales for a while now, the kind
used for weighing suitcases, bags, parcels etc. Ideally, i'm looking for
something that reads out weights of items in pounds or kilos. ideally
kilos. The only scales i have found are soled in the US and are
manufactured by taylor. Does anyone have any idea if these can be
obtained in the UK? alternatively, how they could be imported from the
US? afew american websites offer them, but they don't ship
internationally unfortunately. Also, it is unclear if the measurement is
read out in kilos, its read out in pounds because that's what's used
over there. Any help greatly apreciated.

Thanks for reading,

Mo.
