I don't know why you cannot access the form for the demo. I managed it and got
a message from Laura Buck at Ocean Blue software. I then wrote to her
asking if the box would enable us to access the red button. The reply is below
(she has a problem with my name):
Dear Mrs Pele,
Red button information is accessible through the box (This is a requirement
of UK digital TV receivers), however the information contained in the red
button application is not voiced.
A lot of work is being done in the industry currently to improve the way in
which red button information is broadcast to the receiver. However, until
this work is standardised across the industry we are not able to extract the
information we need to be able to voice the red button data.
There are plans for PVR version of the set top box, along with a rollout
plan across Europe and Australiasia.
