this practice of covert user monitoring has been going on for quite some
time. there are workarounds but they require a bit of tv surgery to
impliment, the result of which swiftly invalidaes any warrantees you
might have.( as an asside recent research has demonstrated that the
software that drives some sound cards can be configured such that the
loudspeaker can be programmed to act as a microphone,).

Hi,
Yesterday I was reading a post cast on Smart TVs. Well it has put me off buying
one as it means that every thing one does on the smart TV is being monitored by
Big-Brother, that is the the Tb that you have bought. I was very interest in a
Tv that would speak to me and that I could speak to it!! But now after this
article by {Witch{ I have gone off the whole idea so my next TV will be a
straight normal TV.
I am thinking of writing an article for my blog, as I have put quite a lot
about Samsung and Panasonic Smart TVs on my blog, and I want folk to think very
carefully about buying one of these TVs be going ahead.

It would be great if someone who has looked into purchasing such a tv, could
pass on their findings please?, Billy
