Adrien I think I understand: when you created your rules you mistakenly checked the "display in the new item alert window" option and you want to know if you can alter the rules to undo this option rather than recreate them. If that is your question, the answer is yes. From the Tools menu, select Rules and Alerts. Tab to the list of rules; on my PC it takes 8 Tabs to get to it. DownArrow to the rule you want to change, then either Shift + Tab back to the Change Rule button menu and press SpaceBar on it or use the shortcut Alt + H to activate it from the list. Either way you'll get a menu and the third option on it will need to be unchecked to get rid of the display option. Press Enter on it to toggle the setting and leave the menus, then go to the list again and choose another rule. When you've done them all, Tab to the OK button to close the dialogue and save your changes. I have set up rules to move my messages and on the options I checked the box that says display in new items screen, I have looked at the ones you mentioned, they're ok, it's when I move an item using my rules. just as an example, if you go to the application key, select c for create a new rule. along there, there is a check box for selecting whether I want to display the items I've moved. It's this I want to turn off. Is there an easy way of doing it without creating new rules? While in the Inbox, open the Tools menu and choose Options. Tab to the E-mail Options button and press it. Tab to the Advanced E-mail Options button and press it. There are four checkboxes under the heading "when new items arrive in my Inbox". The fourth of these governs whether the alert appears at all.
