Hi all,
New to the list but jumping in here.
My volume stays just fine, but there's an interesting issue.
The volume starts off quite low, and gets louder and louder until it
finishes speaking. This only happens through the scart assembly, not when I
use headphones with the Talker.
I don't know if I'll be keeping it - the only benefit it gives me is knowing
what recorded programme I'm playing, and I can find that out within about 15
seconds of listening, max. If it read the banner as you scrolled or the
planner as you navigated through it I'd certainly be happier. I see no way
for Sky to update the firmmware of the thing and haven't been told that
existing customers will be able to get any future improvements at a
discount. Has anyone else?

My settings stayed also, except the volume. Try turning it right down first
and on mine the volume goes back up again. Not a problem was just trying to
work out why that other person was having a problem with it fogetting their
settings (sorry forgotten who it was).
