hi jackie well as i said on my last email humanware say it's got to be a new
device at £495. i must say i've just upgraded to my new i phone se and the
satnav on their which ever i use is so so much faster and better than the
trekker and £495 what.
again i must say steve nut's voice rings in my ears
stick to main stream.
i went on my braille note touch yesterday and tried amazon music no joy at all
just web view web view. i think to be very truthfull unlless companies for the
blind can keep up somehow the main stream route is the way to go.
this morning i had to go to pindafields hospital this morning for a pre opp
appointment and it was just no go for me. i got the people at the desk to put
my details in then i was waiting for my name to come up on a screen. it never
did for forty minutes so i went back and it had not gone in. again i was told
to watch the screen. well i will not bore the list with this any more but after
all the work done by the fand hear in leeds it's very sad to see it all going
backwards for blind people. i wonder if there's a way to actually access these
screens. sorry to bore you all with this.
