Subject: [access-uk] tutorials

I've lost count of the number of times I've nagged my
husband for struggling with a new piece of kit because he
hasn't bothered to read the instructions, but I need to
practise what I preach.

I've struggled on with Window-eyes and Windows 8 for months
but not bothered to read any of the manuals or tutorials.
Yesterday, out of interest, I went to the G W Micro site
looking for the Webinar on Itunes and found a whole load of
Webinars in mp3 which I could download. Having gone through
some of them today, I realise I'm not nearly as proficient
with Window-eyes as I'd thought I was! There are so many
more navigation keys for using the internet than I'd
realised; I knew nothing about Aria; I'd not realised how
useful place markers could be - and I am suitably chastened
- smile!
