Hi folks
I'm a bit brassed off at the moment. After deliberating whether to go
for google home or amazon echo I took the plunge fot google home
because I learned that I could upload all my albums I have on my NAS
drive and play ivia streaming. Well I have tried the windows
google music manager using windows 7 and both jaws17 and the latest
nvda and it seems totally inaccessible. I've tried to look at using
the google chrome music manager extension but have never been
successful with the chrome browser using jaws, it doesn't seem to
work at all and I'm not efficient enough with nvda. I tried to
download the music manager extension in chrome but the search didn't
fine anything. I installed the music manager on my iphone but
couldn't find a way to upload any fines from my phone let alone
attach o my nas drive.
my NAS is a Synology make and the last time I went into the gubbins
of it even that was mainly inaccessible. At the moment it is mapped
as a drive and I can access my music via my samsung tv, but I'd love
to be able to use google home to access my music.
Can anyone give any advice.
Sorry for the rant.
Martin
