In addition, if you can get the offenders to change their out of office rules to ignore mail from the list then you'll get the 100 points and a gold star.

Barry Hill recently said:-

If you find them annoying, try turning them into a game. For every one that
you get, give yourself 10 points. When you reach 100 points, give yourself
a reward, like an extra sausage with your dinner, a shot of whiskey in your
coffee, a couple of biscuits, or whatever. You can play this game with spam
too.

An alternative is to set up a rule to delete out of office responses, but
that seems like more bother than it's worth.

Me, I just delete them without a second thought.

Cheers

Barry

Some people have set up out of office messages. presumably there are
some employees of Access Technology on this list. As they do not usually
work on weekends or bank holidays an out of office message is generated
for each post they receive. It's sure annoying but can be lived with.
