Hi All, I found the way around this was to tab forward and then shift tab back and Jaws will read it.

Hi Vanja, As you say, Jaws doesn't read the to field. However to check whether the email address is there: 1. In the to field, press CTRL + A to select any text, and then press CTRL + C to copy it. 2. Open a copy of Word, or something, and press CTRL + V to paste. You can then read the text. Note that if you try and send a messsage with no subject, a warning dialog opens telling you this. David. original message: This is my point though, as I tried to explain last night. I do that, I see a list of contact, I highlight a contact, hit to button, or cc button, but their names do not appear in the fields and it's not just that jaws doesn't read them because when i try to send a mail it doesn't send it to the people selected.
