Hi, In hope that someone might know the cause and the solution of this problem. Since yesterday I have had difficulties in connecting my desktop to my wireless router. Normally I can get a good signal and speeds usually between 48 and 54 MBPS. But since yesterday I've been getting speeds of between 2 and 24 MBPS and no signal at all.

My question is how can I have no signal when I can send emails and connect to the internet? and more broadly does anyone have any ideas why this problem has suddenly appeared?

I use a wireless USB stick which I've used since around last march. Is it possible that the stick is just coming to the end of its useful life?
