There are other free web-conferencing options besides Zoom that we may want
to consider for our board meetings.
For example, WebEx has a free web-conference that doesn't have the
limitations that the free Zoom has.
The free WebEx version allows 100 participants, and there is no 40-minute
meeting limit like there is with the free Zoom. We should give it a try to
see if we like it.

Hi Melissa & Marcy,
I hope you’re well. Wanted to send a couple asks after I had a chance to
connect with Kalyn on the upcoming 12/4 Board meeting items:
•Marcy: Can you please plan to send a reminder to the ACWEboard email list
with the link to the last meeting’s minutes and a reminder to check items
beforehand? (See below on question about Zoom link for the meeting; this
should also be included, when available.)
•Melissa: Can you please draft an FY23 budget for us to review at the Board
meeting? Just include what we know so far, and note any placeholders for
items we aren’t sure about, or should discuss. Kalyn confirmed with Mike
that we do not qualify for the city grants, so that can be excluded.
For the group: Does anyone have access to a Zoom Pro account that we could
use for the Board meetings? Or, Melissa, do you know if we could qualify to
get a Zoom Pro account on behalf of the org as a nonprofit? It would be
helpful if we could move away from asking Mike to use his work account for
our meetings.
Thanks, everyone. See you at Zilker.
