Music folders are 11.5x14.5 in., and there are 95 linear ft of music, plus
bits and bobs. Standard bankers boxes are 10x12x15 in., so we'll seed to
stack music from the bottom up. That math makes 114 bankers boxes needed,
rounded up to 120 for the bits and bobs.
The cheapest place I've found for bankers boxes is Office depot, link here,
$46.79 per 20 boxes.

I would think the more we can get done this weekend, the better. The
unpacking doesn’t absolutely have to happen by the end of April (although it
probably shouldn’t wait too much longer, since there will be summer music to
copy). If we can arrange transport for Sunday, I would think we could manage
the bulk of the move in 2 days, one to pack and one to haul. That’s assuming
we can get a few volunteers for packing—there isn’t THAT much space in the
library for people to work—and several for moving heavy stuff.

Now that we have the new unit, we need to move the library into it,
preferably by the end of April (our storage payments are due on the 1st of
each month). Here are the possible weekend days we have to move things:
Weekends in April:
4/9 & 4/10 - We should do some packing/moving this weekend. I personally
won't be able to help (my parents are in town), but y'all should do stuff.
4/16 & 4/17 - Saturday morning would be a good time for moving things.
Caroline scheduled a movie night the evening of the 16th, and the 17th is
Easter Sunday
4/23 & 4/24 - TCMF is going on this weekend, ACWE plays early on Saturday,
but ACWE members will likely be busy throughout the weekend performing and
volunteering.
4/30 (Sat) - Still TCMF. Sunday is the first day of May.
I like the idea of splitting up the moving process into 2-3 days so we have
time to pack, move, and unpack. I think 4/9, 4/10, and 4/16 would be the
best days to do the work, either all three days or just two of the three.
What are y'all's date preferences?
And what days would we be able to have a truck and/or Giuseppe's trailer to
move the filing cabinets?
We should decide on the dates/times soon so that we can announce them to the
band on Tues.
