Describes Hydrazinium Nitroforomate (HNF) perfectly. One of my favorite
propellants and its 15% oxygen positive to boot. Any propellants we made with
it scream and the dIsp is top of the scale. Nothing combusts aluminum like it
due to its 1 micron flame length. Unfortunately it like other magic
propellants, has issues. It was a rave propellant for the future back in the
early 60s and the oil companies even got involved because we there was a belief
that we would be going to orbit on a daily basis in the near future at the time.
Never got to go to school in a flying saucer or take a weekend vacation on a
space station. I do have a microwave oven and have two way video on my phone. I
even have a robot that cuts my grass. Damn I miss the future.
Best.
Anthony
