Jimmy Yawn was on list, and was one of the big experimenters in sugar
rockets. He launched at NEFAR, but it looks like they lost their grass farm
launch site a few years ago, and I’m not finding much for recent updates.
Bit of an anti-answer.
ERAU and UCF are the universities with student rocket programs that I can
remember, if you want to go prod them into doing something with guidance.
