We made some motors for CNES. I never asked specifically what they were for. 
They just said it was for a UAV program.

Joint project of CNES and ONERA, Éole took off several times from the CSG 
during last week. The goal? To study the feasibility of Altaïr, an airborne 
launcher, taking off from an airplane in flight and for which the CSG has made 
available its facilities.
