As "A Secret History" is basically a small subset of SoA in terms of technical content, Amazon seems to think people are willing to pay $300 for less data as long as it comes in dead-tree format and is wordsmithed into a somewhat more narrative format.  Though, to be fair, if your plan is to preserve a "This is what happened to the Great Old Ones" archive for successor civilizations, the dead-tree format might be a plus :-)
