Holds hundreds of patents, keeps founding and growing companies until 
someone hands him a check with 10 figures on it...

It seems in real life he has fun creating things! Which turn out to be 
highly profitable companies..

He mentions that he started his career with few dollars and when he 
built this lab/shop for himself it was with a "money is no problem" 
approach...  (Though I do like his, why spend tens of thousands of 
dollars when the previous generation of a tool/instrument works just as 
well and is 500 bucks on eBay.. approach.)
