Hello everyone,
I've been on the arocket list for years, haven't really posted often at all
but I've learned a whole lot. Currently, I am COO of a launch startup,
Aphelion Orbitals, Inc. I have a feeling many of the people here have at
least seen the name mentioned here or there.
We're developing a suborbital rocket and nanosatellite launch vehicle. We
received $500,000 in seed funding last September and are currently in
negotiations with several venture capital entities for a pre-Series A round,
which may actually turn into Series A. The photo is of our first production
engine chamber/nozzle assembly. We contracted out to Compositex for
manufacturing and they did awesome work as usual. They also do the chambers
for Vector and others. This assembly will be delivered on Monday and we have
the rest of the engine already manufactured and ready for integration in
hopes of beginning our test program in May.
