Kudos to SpaceX again--sounds like this time they used 3 engines for a
rapid decel to the drone ship. Pretty sporting! This envelope expansion
certainly seems to demonstrate the robustness of the whole recovery
concept, that it can be used for a variety of mission profiles. I wish I
had stayed up and watched it...

Sturdier geometry, less likely to collapse. Like suggested on this list
earlier ;-).
My plant superintendent always said when process troubles hit him from all
