Subject: [AR] Mission to the next Oumuamua
Thinking about what one could do for a mission to the next Oumuamua,
Have a spacecraft with an RTG and electric propulsion hanging out with the
trojan asteroids, inspect a few of them while you are waiting.
When go time comes electric yourself over to Jupiter, dive towards the sun, and
have some high thrust storable propulsion for the solar close pass (note, with
an RTG, storable could mean storable with refrigeration)
For the jupiter pass, could you turn off all of your electronics after the last
trajectory correction to save them from the radiation? Then turn them back on
again when you are well away from Jupiter.
Finally, the electric propulsion is used for trajectory correction for the trip
to Oumuamua 2
