The only problem is that they only come in one size, and one color, so
getting fuel and oxidizer lines swapped is possible....

Hmm, no check valve, and no actuated valve in the rocket... doesn't
that rule out every possible solution?
Maybe if you had a check valve for filling, and another orifice with
something like a burst disk that you could pierce from the outside for
draining? Or just one orifice, and a check valve bypassing the burst
disk?
