Off topic, but all the people who would have normally died of flu were diagnosed as having, and having died of Covid. Not to mention people who died skydiving...

What looks suspicious though is the nearly zero Flu cases, < 1K when it usually is >50K.

    a read.

Note that it (or rather the first article in the 3-part series) now
bears a retraction notice -- though there's still an interesting,
well-grounded story there when one strips away the hype, fear, and
suspicion: a lot of people are testing positive by the PCR test but
with high Ct numbers, most probably because they'd been infected much
earlier and never got a test; this is just residual virus, likely
dead.)  So the real status of the pandemic is better measured by
hospitalizations or deaths than by infections.  (The Ct number is the
number of doublings before the sample lights up as positive, so
roughly the logarithm base 2 of the viral RNA concentration, or rather
    the negative logarithm.)

Oh, and in another 'I would never have expected them to do something
so stupid' move, the Ct number is not allowed to be reported to
doctors or patients in the US.

(I don't think we need another big coronavirus discussion, but this
    seemed worth mentioning.)
