I have a shelf in the shop that I need for other uses:
It’s currently full of parts and tools for 2.5” diameter lightweight
composite rockets.
Among much else are eight 0.049” wall aluminum tubes and ten tightly
fitting phenolic liners. There are at least three graphite nozzles and
eight fully machined bolt-through-the-wall fins. Three staging adapters to
make a two stage vehicle, at least one forward bulkhead set up for head end
ignition and a large supply of tooling including a fin attachment jig and a
tool for pushing the liner out of the tube. Five or so fiberglass nose
cones, internal bulkheads for the instrument section, more....
I would prefer to see this stuff fly and will bias any final disposition
toward someone—or a group—that is more likely to actually use them.
