That’s a different design. It’s very similar to the all solid hybrid we
developed as part of an AFRL program in the late 90’s.
The Aerojet design used a highly pressure sensitive propellant utilizing a
variable area, pintle nozzle with a typical solid fuel combustion chamber and
multiple igniters. We also demonstrated multiple chambers with frangible
septums. IIRC, we were granted a patent on the latter.
