Hey All,

I like the LR-64 design, and would like to perform a closer analysis, but am
hesitant to spend the bucks to cut up a good motor. If anybody knows of a
broken/spent motor that I can buy just to cut up, I'd be willing to take it off
of somebody's hands if it wasn't held too dear.

The LR-64 was a dual chamber design used for the Jayhawk target drone.
Designed to burn Nitric Acid/Hydrazine, it has been in production since the
early 60's until about ten years ago. The larger boost chamber was initially
designed for 1000 lbf, later de-rated to 750 lbf, this is the object of my
interest.

The best site covering the motor I've found is:
http://www.rocketrelics.com/liquid_propulsion.htm

As always, I'll share my findings/results.

As Astra,

Ray
