Jerry, if you are going to have interlopers then Barn Swallows would be a good
choice in my book.

Yesterday I saw a Barn Swallow sitting on the power line in our front yard.
This was the first since we bought the place in 1978 and tore down all the old
buildings that were here. This morning I discovered that a pair of Barn
Swallows have appropriated the Eastern Phoebe nest on our front stoop. The
phoebes had been using it as recently as last week, and yesterday was the first
time I had noticed a Barn Swallow.
