The BCBC birding outing to Burkes Garden for Saturday, Feb. 20 looks good
weatherwise with overcast skies with the temperature in the mid 50's, though
there is a 40% chance of showers. Just glad there is no snow in the
forecast.
Those going should meet at Hardees in Tazewell by 8:00 a.m., earlier if you
plan to have breakfast. At 8:00 we will caravan to The Garden.
You should bring a lunch since we don't know if the store there will be
open. If you have the small, family radios please bring them so you can keep
in touch with others in the caravan to know what they are seeing and
hearing.
At the moment it looks like we have 10 or 12 people going.
Let's hope the Golden Eagles and the Rough-legged Hawks have not yet left
for their migration northward to nest.
