A pair of Gray Catbirds have built a nest in one of our shrubs about 6 ft from the ground. With the help of a ladder I was able to get a shot of the eggs while the parents were away. Not sure what that white is on the lower left egg. Possibly a chip off the shell. Hope not. Strange how thrushes and Catbird eggs are both blue. I wonder how that came about? Roger Mayhorn Compton Mt
