        Arrive Saturday, Feb 20, 2010

        Feb 20:  Arrive and transfer to Punta Leona for 2 NTS via Atenas, 
Orotina, and Guacimo. 

         

        Feb 21:  All day in Carara NP with owling in the evening toward Jaco.  
2nd NT at Punta Leona 

         

        Feb 22:  Boat ride on the Rio Tarcoles with Mangrove Birding Tours then 
transfer to Esquinas Rainforest Lodge near Golfito for 2 NTS 

         

        Feb 23:  All day in Esquinas area - great SW birding - 2nd NT at 
Esquinas Rainforest Lodge  

         

        Feb 24:  Early morning at Rincon Bridge for specialties, then transfer 
to San Vito area staying 2 NTS at Wilson Botanical Gardens (Las Cruces Field 
Station - OTS)  

         

        Feb 25:  All day in San Vito area - 2nd NT at Wilson Botanical Gardens 

         

        Feb 26:  Morning birding locally then transfer via San Isidro, Cerro de 
la Muerte - with a stop at Paraiso del Quetzal, Cartago - staying your final NT 
at Orquideas Inn near Alajuela (airport) 

         

        Feb 27:  Transfer to San Jose Airport in time for your departure flight

        Feb 20 & 21:  2 NTS Punta Leona Beach Resort - Standard Rooms 

        Feb 22 & 23:  2 NTS Esquinas Rainforest Lodge near Golfito
